United States ruler Donald Trump is threatening Russia, saying that unless the war is “settled”, Ukraine will get Tomahawk missiles. As Trump made the remarks, he made it clear that he is aware that sending Ukraine the long-range missiles will be seen as an “act of aggression” by Moscow.

Russia has already laid down another red line, ready for the West to cross it.

Russia Lays Down Another Red Line On Tomahawk Missiles

Trump doesn’t appear to be looking for the end of this war, while he’s overly invested in ending the war between Israel and Hamas.

According to a report by RT, while speaking to reporters on Sunday, Trump stressed that Ukraine “would like to have Tomahawks,” but that he could discuss the issue with Putin. “I might say, look, if this war is not going to get settled, I’m going to send them Tomahawks,” he said. The US leader admitted that supplying the missiles to Kiev would be “a new step of aggression.”

Giving Tomahawk Cruise Missiles To Ukraine Would Be An Absolutely Insane Thing To Do

Commenting on the prospects of the US-made missiles being supplied to Ukraine, Putin said Moscow’s response “would be the strengthening of the Russian Federation’s air defenses.” He has also argued that Ukrainian forces would be unable to operate such a sophisticated system without the “direct participation of American military personnel.” –RT

Several sources have reported that the U.S. is not likely to actually supply the missiles to Kiev because the supply in Washington is short. Current stockpiles are already in use by the Navy. So is Trump just calling Russia’s bluff? It’s hard to say.

Russian officials have said neither Kiev nor its European backers appear to be genuinely interested in peace and are actively trying to prolong the conflict. So far, Russia’s restraint when the West and Ukraine cross its red lines is the only thing standing between the current conflict and World War 3.

What do you think? Will the U.S. send Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine? If it does, will Russia react?
