United States ruler Donald Trump has threatened to attack Colombia as fears of a war with Venezuela escalate. Trump announced plans to expand anti-drug operations to include land-based strikes against Colombian cocaine labs, accusing Bogota of harboring drug producers. Colombian President Gustavo Petro warned the U.S. against “waking the jaguar”.

According to Natural News, Petro invited Trump to collaborate in destroying cocaine labs but rejected U.S. military intervention, with Colombia’s Foreign Ministry condemning Trump’s remarks as “external aggression.”

The U.S. is on a rampage toward war with several countries it deems guilty of “narco trafficking.” Much like with the war crimes committed against boats in the Caribbean, the Trump administration appears to want a new conflict.

“Any threat of external aggression that violates the dignity, integrity of the territory and sovereignty of the Colombian people is rejected,” the Colombian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, according to a report by Newsweek.

The U.S. has already increased military aggression and deployed 15,000 troops near Venezuela. It has also conducted airstrikes on what it assures the public (without evidence) are drug-smuggling vessels, raising fears of a broader military intervention akin to past U.S. actions in Latin America.

The relation with Colombia is degrading as Petro previously suggested that American soldiers should disobey “inhumane” orders. If the military actually disobeyed inhuman orders, there would be no military or ruling class to speak of.  But Trump got offended nonetheless at what Petro suggested.

On December 2nd, Trump also threatened to conduct land strikes on Venezuela. “We’re going to start doing those strikes on land, too,” he said. “You know, the land is much easier, much easier. And we know the routes they take. We know everything about them.”

WAR ALERT: Trump Said The U.S. Will Soon Start Bombing Venezuela

These are disturbing escalations, especially because Trump campaigned with the promise of “no new wars.” It’s almost like politicians of all sides will lie to get power over others and amass wealth in the process.
