Staccato 2011 has announced that the new Staccato HD C4X is now available for purchase through authorized dealers nationwide and directly through the company’s website. First introduced earlier this year at SHOT Show, the HD C4X expands the HD lineup with a compact 4-inch pistol designed to balance concealability with duty-grade performance.
The Staccato HD C4X was co-developed with an elite law enforcement special surveillance team, bringing professional input into the design process. According to Staccato, the goal was to combine proven reliability with customer-driven features in a compact platform suitable for duty use, personal protection, and everyday carry.
At the core of the HD C4X is a 4-inch barrel paired with an integrated compensator, making it the first model in the HD series to feature a built-in comp. The integrated design is intended to reduce muzzle rise and enhance shootability while maintaining a streamlined footprint for carry. The pistol also includes fully ambidextrous controls, a 15-round capacity, and compatibility with Glock-pattern magazines, giving users flexible and widely available magazine options.
Like other models in the HD line, the C4X features Staccato’s HD HOST optic mounting system, allowing direct mounting of popular red dot optics using spacer plates. The pistol is built with U.S.-sourced steel and components, reinforcing the company’s commitment to domestic manufacturing.
Paul Smith, Vice President of Product at Staccato, said the HD line continues to evolve based on feedback from professionals and customers. He noted that the C4X was designed to be compact and versatile enough for both duty carry and personal protection roles, delivering confidence and performance in a concealable package.
The Staccato HD C4X is offered in three configurations, with a starting MSRP of $3,499. It is now available through authorized Staccato dealers and online.
The continued expansion of the HD lineup reflects strong demand for high-performance pistols that are equally suited for professional use and responsible civilian carry. A compact pistol that integrates a compensator from the factory shows how manufacturers are responding to shooters who want greater control and faster follow-up shots in a carry-sized platform. As more Americans take personal protection seriously, options like the HD C4X provide another premium choice built with real-world input and American manufacturing at its core.
