Russian Ambassador Tells U.S., UK That World War III is “Imminent”

Great Britain’s decision to provide military aid to Ukraine could result in a “collision between nuclear powers,” according to Andrey Kelin, Russia’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, who warned that World War III is now “imminent.”

On Telegram, Kelin warned the world that British support for Ukraine will “seriously escalate” the already tense and escalating situation between Russia and the West.

“We have made multiple warnings that [the use of Western] missiles to strike inside Russia will be a serious escalation,” Kelin said.

“Despite these warnings, the U.S. administration supported by France and the UK has made a deliberate decision to carry out these strikes. This seriously escalates the situation and can lead to a collision between the nuclear powers.”

Russia says it’s “entitled” to attack Western weapons-supply nations

The Kremlin also directly addressed the situation by warning the West not to supply weapons to Ukraine for use in Russian territory.

Should the West disobey, which it is already doing, the Kremlin will be “entitled” to strike “military targets of those countries that allow their weapons to be used against our facilities.”

The message seemed to be aimed at the United States for supporting Kyiv’s decision to launch ATACMS missiles against Russian and North Korean forces in Russia.

Russia, meanwhile, launched a new Oreshnik hypersonic missile at Dnipro, a city in Ukraine. Oreshnik missiles are said to have the capability of reaching the UK from Russia in just 20 minutes.

Because of how effective the weapon is, Putin is ordering a lot of them, calling them “unstoppable.” It is speculated that Oreshnik is a revamped version of a Cold War-era intercontinental missile called RS-26 Rubezh.

“There is no countermeasure to such a missile, no means of intercepting it, in the world today,” Putin said. “And I will emphasize once again that we will continue testing this newest system. It is necessary to establish serial production.”

No matter how you slice it, this is already a world war. Kelin says that Great Britain is now “directly involved” in the war since its Storm Shadow missiles were used to hit Russian targets – and so is the U.S. for approving Ukraine to use them for this purpose.

“Absolutely, Britain and UK [are] now directly involved in this war because this firing cannot happen without NATO staff, British staff as well,” Kelin said.

The White House is finally admitting that it gave the green light for Ukraine to use ATACMS missiles, this after President Biden remained silent about the matter.

“They are able to use ATACMS to defend themselves in an immediate-need basis,” said National Security Council spokesman John Kirby to reporters at a White House briefing.

“We did change the guidance and gave them guidance that they can use them to strike these particular types of targets,” he continued, referring to the Ukrainian attacks “in and around Kursk.”

Ever since the start of the war in early 2022, the U.S. and its allies have been giving Ukraine increasingly more powerful weapons to use against Russia. Russia is obviously taking note of this as Putin warns about consequences for crossing his “red lines.”

“This is the Biden regime’s attempt to scorch the earth before the arrival of Trump,” a commenter wrote. “Trump must be furious and whoever goes with this toxic bomb Russia scheme is going to answer to Trump.”
