A rioter over the weekend threw a rock through the window of an office used by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Washington, where a fire was also set, authorities said Tuesday.

Local authorities in Yakima, Washington are investigating the attack as an act of arson, the Department of Homeland Security said.

The suspect threw a rock through a window of a building where ICE operates an office, DHS said. Additionally, a small fire was set in the back of the building, authorities said.

ICE AGENTS TARGETED IN 2 AMBUSH ATTACKS IN RECENT DAYS

No injuries were reported. It was unclear if ICE agents were the target of the attack, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

McLaughlin also called out Democratic leaders who support sanctuary city policies amid an increase in attacks on ICE agents.

“Make no mistake, Democrat politicians like Hakeem Jeffries, Mayor Wu of Boston, Tim Walz, and Mayor Bass of Los Angeles are contributing to the surge in assaults of our ICE officers through their repeated vilification and demonization of ICE,” she said.

“From comparisons to the modern-day Nazi gestapo to glorifying rioters, the violent rhetoric of these sanctuary politicians is beyond the pale,” she added.

In Colorado, an illegal immigrant from Mexico is accused of attempting to run over ICE agents while they were conducting a recent operation in Colorado Springs. In July, 10 people were charged with shooting a police officer in the neck and opening fire on other correctional officers outside the Prairieland Detention Center on the Fourth of July.

ICE has seen an 830% increase in attacks against its agents. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has said that anyone charged with assaulting federal officers will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
