Episode 58 was filmed May 14th, flying Frontier from New Orleans to Las Vegas. First time being recognized at the counter and a fun interaction came out of it.

Check-In at MSY

Walked up, declared firearms, and got into the process. Signed the declaration form, and I put it in the Fedex sleeve attached to my Pelican case that was inside my Samsonite bag.

During the conversation he brought up Spirit, where he used to work. Different process over there — and not always the right one. They’d sometimes ask what kind of firearm you were traveling with, which isn’t something airlines are supposed to do, and would make you open the case at times. He wasn’t sure of Frontier’s policy but his co-workers did and they handled it correctly.

That’s when he recognized me from TikTok — said I’d made a couple of his coworkers go viral. First time that’s happened at the counter.

The female agent next to him asked if the camera was recording. When I said yes, she waved at it.

Set a 15-minute timer and waited. TSA didn’t come out.
