The FBI is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in the fatal shooting of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Authorities have released images of a person of interest and are continuing an intensive manhunt.


OREM, UT (1-minute read) — The FBI has launched an urgent manhunt for the suspect responsible for the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, during a speaking event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. Authorities are appealing to the public for help, releasing two surveillance images of a person of interest believed to be in his late teens or early twenties.

The suspect is described as college-aged, though further identifying details have not been released. FBI agents, in coordination with local law enforcement, are working nonstop to locate and apprehend the individual. During a Thursday press conference, officials emphasized the seriousness of the investigation and the need for public cooperation.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the FBI or local police immediately.
