A German general is commenting on what Ukraine “should” be doing to further push the world toward a global war. Major General Christian Freuding, who oversees Germany’s military assistance to Ukraine, gave advice to the country that would only ignite more fury from Russia.

Freuding also confirmed earlier this month that Ukraine would receive its first batch of long-range missiles financed by Berlin before the end of this month, in less than ten days.

Ukraine should consider striking Russian airfields and weapons factories deep inside the country to alleviate pressure on the front, a senior German general has suggested. This had already been viewed as a major provocation by the German military, which Russia has denounced for a long time.

Moscow suggested that Berlin is becoming “dangerous again,” while accusing it of supporting the West’s militarization in the war. Germany is involved while trying to act like it’s uninvolved in the conflict.

“You can also indirectly affect the offensive potential of Russian strike forces before they are deployed,” Freuding said, according to a report by RT. “Use long-range air warfare assets to strike aircraft and airfields before they are used. Also, target weapons production facilities.”

War Expansion? Zelensky Threatens Strikes On Russia, While Germany Calls For Universal Conscription

Last year, the administration of former United States President Joe Biden authorized Ukraine to use American long-range weapons to strike inside Russia, though with significant restrictions on range and target selection. This “allowance” crossed Russia’s stated red line, and the U.S. was lucky not to be on the receiving end of retaliation. Media reports at the time indicated that Kiev was not allowed to hit major Russian airfields.

All of this rhetoric seems to be a provocation, but Russia’s ability to allow its red lines to be crossed may eventually end. So far, the fact that Russia hasn’t retaliated against the West for its involvement in the war is the only thing keeping the globe from a third world war.

Do you agree? Will Russia eventually retaliate against Germany, the U.S., NATO, or Europe? Let us know what you think in the comments and start the discussion.
