President Donald Trump announced a successful U.S. airstrike on three major Iranian nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan—stating that all American aircraft have exited Iranian airspace safely. Military experts say the strike may end a key phase in ongoing Middle East tensions, though retaliation from Iran remains a possibility.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (3-minute read) — In a dramatic announcement posted to Truth Social Saturday evening, President Donald Trump stated that the United States had successfully executed airstrikes on three of Iran’s key nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.

According to Trump, the attack involved the full deployment of aerial firepower, with a “full payload of bombs” dropped specifically on the heavily fortified Fordow uranium enrichment site.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump said Saturday night.

“All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

The President is scheduled to address the nation at 10 p.m. Eastern Time to provide further details. A source close to the White House said Trump had long maintained that Iran must never obtain nuclear weapons, and this operation was a concrete step to uphold that position.

Strategic Strike on Iran: Could This Mark a Turning Point?

The military effort appears to have been focused on delaying or dismantling Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Fordow, buried deep within a mountain, is one of the most secure nuclear sites in the world and reportedly required the use of Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOPs)—bunker-busting bombs designed to destroy deeply buried facilities. While damage assessments are still ongoing, military analysts say that if Fordow was truly neutralized, this strike could represent a major blow to Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

While the immediate military operation appears to have concluded without American losses, national security analysts stress that geopolitical ramifications may unfold in the coming days or weeks.

Safety Tip: Stay informed about geopolitical developments and how they might impact domestic safety. For those who carry concealed, now is a good time to review local laws regarding emergency declarations and firearm transport across state lines.
